Would hazard a guess judging by the photos of him with a glass in his hand and a silly grin in nearly everyone, his big red face and his reputation for recreational drugs, and no doubt being a Frenchman fine cuisine is a priority and doesn’t he also smoke that collapsing during this kick about was his body telling him enough is enough……….

In a previous job, I worked with a bloke in Helsinki.
In a winter teleconference, his local temperature was -30C. In the same year, we had a teleconference when his local temperature was +30C.

I've had heat exhaustion playing football.
I didn't collapse, though - just felt very odd, plus a massive headache. Medics didn't even get a stethoscope out, before telling me to drink a lot slowly and lie down until I felt better.
In a related note - 51C in parts of India today. Doubt there's many playing football in that.

Exactly the same thing happened to me last march, playing 5 aside collapsed, ex copper did CPR , club had a defibrillator got me back going, Air Ambulance doctor said I should have survived had quad bypass, back working, playing golf and 5 aside, NHS fucking Brilliant

One of just a handful of footballers I've looked at in that way. Met him in late nineties when he was doing a sunglasses shoot for company I worked for...was very sexy! hope he's OK
